Dear Afula Residents,


The city of Afula's position, as the Capital of the Valley and the region's most prominent urban center, has grown stronger in recent years. The city offers diverse employment solutions in industry, commerce, government services and offices as well as a leading medical center (Ha'emek) that serves the population of the entire region. As of the end of 2016, railway line connects between Afula and Haifa, and is increasing accessibility to the city, considerably.

Furthermore, the city supplies its residents and the region's population with high-level services in education, culture, and quality environment. On a daily basis, Afula serves as the top choice for the population of tens of thousands, surrounding the city and arriving in Afula in order to benefit from commercial, employment, medical and government services.

Afula is currently undergoing an impressive development boom, mainly in construction and infrastructure. According to media reports, Afula ranks third in the Israel in terms of scope of construction and fifth in terms of growth. Furthermore in the areas of education, culture, and infrastructure development, the hum of progress is noticeable at almost every street corner.

Afula is also experiencing an impressive boom in setting up new neighborhoods, along with the renewal of old neighborhoods. The city is implementing an incentive plan for young couples and is building new schools, kindergartens and day care centers for infants. All this and more ensures that Afula is indeed on the right path to become one of the largest, strongest and most attractive cities in the northern district of Israel, offering its inhabitants a high standard of living.
